Our Ministries

It is our desire at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church to carry out the Great Commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through the spirited teachings and preaching of the Word of God. Our goal is to build a healthy Church through spirited Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Ministry and Evangelism; helping members and non-members identify their Spiritual Gifts so that they will become assimilated into the Body of Christ.

Man2Man informs, motivates, and involves men and boys in praying, studying, giving, ministering, and helping those in need and sharing their faith in Christ with their community and the world beyond.

Marriage

Our mission is to help couples to think about washing out the old hurt and the old way of thinking about their relationship. It’s the physical washing of ourselves spiritually by renewing our minds with GOD’s word on what our relationship should and could be.  Ministry Leader: Quay Langley
 
Christian Education
Guiding Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:15
 

The Christian Education department will edify the body of Christ and develop leaders in the cause of Christ through: teaching God’s truth; fostering a love of God’s word; providing opportunities for group study of the Bible; providing Bible based resources for individual, family, and small group study; encouraging each person to have a personal quiet time; and instilling a desire for scripture memorization stressing the application of God’s word to life’s everyday situations. This ministry’s goal is to emphasize walking in truth, obedience, and love through appropriate age based activities supported by Youth advisors and the entire church family.  Ministry Leader: Marion Singleton

This mission of this ministry is to glorify, worship and adore the LORD through music; to reveal the LORD more plainly through music; and to lead the congregation in worship and minister prophetically through dance. Ministry Leader: Donovan Parks

 
Missionary

The objectives of this ministry are to assist and aid those in distress; encourage the training of children and youth in missionary work; and to give moral and financial support to Christian Institutions. Ministry Leader: Kathlyn Jackson

 
 
Heart and Soul

The ultimate purpose of this ministry is to glorify God; to assist the Pastor in meeting the needs of our congregation, guests and friends; caring for them in sickness and health in the name of our loving Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Ministry Leader: Leslie Foster

Greeter/Usher
Guiding Scripture
 
Greet each worshiper by using “Fruit of the Spirit” hidden in your heart, with a smile, an audible greeting and a handshake.  The duty of an Usher is maintaining decency and order in the house of prayer, thus providing an atmosphere conducive to worship.
